Local History Group

The Local History Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month. The ruin of St. Giles Leper Hospital, Maldon. The Local History Group primarily studies the historical past of Maldon and Heybridge but we also include the history of other places and events of interest in our part of Essex. We enjoy talks on specialized subjects given by visiting speakers, visits to local museums and historical buildings. Members are encouraged to study aspects of local history of particular interest to themselves and to share their research with other members of the group.
